- Philip Abraham
I have just submitted a Ph.D. thesis on the politics of religion in late seventeenth century Barbados. I have taught early modern British history at King's College London, and am currently teaching a Level 6 (third year) module on Atlantic slavery at Queen Mary, University of London, and an introductory survey course on Europe and the wider world, 1500-1800 at the LSE. Research interests include the religious dynamics of the 'first British Empire' in the Americas, the relationship between Christianity and slavery, and Caribbean history, culture and politics since the fifteenth century.
