About
Stefan Wagner is a PhD candidate at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the Humanities and Health at King's College London, currently seconded to Princeton University. He is completing a doctoral degree under the supervision of David Papineau (Philosophy) and Derek Bolton (Psychiatry). His research is funded by the King's College Medical Humanities PhD Award.
Stefan has been the PhD representative of the research student community at the Centre for the Humanities and Health since August 2010. From September 2011 he is also an associated member of academic staff at King's, where he is teaching tutorials and courses for the BA, MA, and MSc since 2010. Together with the Assistant Head of Holland Park School London he runs an academic outreach project, a research and teaching initiative for knowledge exchange and public engagement, that provides A-Level students with access to mentoring and other resources of higher education.
Biography:
Stefan was educated in Germany and the UK. He did his graduate work in philosophy and scientific method at the University of St Andrews and the University of Munich (LMU), where he was awarded an MLitt (2009) and an MPhil (2010) respectively. Before that he was an undergrad at the University of Mainz, where he read law, philosophy, and comparative literature and received a BA equivalent in 2007.
