For my DPhil thesis, I researched the origins, emergence, and social consequences of the concept of 'Patient Zero' in the early North American AIDS Epidemic.
In January 2011, I began a one-year Economic & Social Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship based in the Department of History and the Centre for the Humanities and Health at King's College London.
