About

Mia Hsiao-Wen Ho joined the Department of Management in King's College London as a PhD student in October 2008 and is completing her study in the coming term in March 2012 under the supervision of Professor Pervez Ghauri and Dr Matt Vidal. Her PhD thesis title is ‘Knowledge Transfer, Organisational Learning, and the Performance of International Strategic Alliances’. Her research interests lie in the co-evolution of international strategic alliances, cross-border knowledge transfer and acquisition, inter-organisational learning, absorptive capacity, the resource-, knowledge-, institution-based, and relational theories, etc.
Prior to her PhD study, she showed the excellent academic performance by being awarded a Distinction for MSc in Business Studies at Aston Business School in Aston University and an honorary membership in Beta Gamma Sigma Society in 2009. Also, she received the Presidential award for outstanding academic performance in the undergraduate study in Economics at National Chengchi University in Taiwan in 2007.
