About
Hugh Denard is Associate Director of King's Visualisation Lab in the Centre for Computing in the Humanities, King’s College London. A specialist in Greek and Roman theatre history, he also studies the application of digital visualisation technologies in the humanities and arts. Hugh edits and jointly coordinates “The London Charter for the Computer-based Visualisation of Cultural Heritage” (www.londoncharter.org) and is currently involved in projects funded by the AHRC, Arts Council England, British Council/Italian Ministry of Research, Eduserv Foundation, JISC, Leverhulme Trust, Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has recently completed a preliminary study of Dublin's original Abbey Theatre (http://blog.oldabbeytheatre.net/).
